SPACIA X (N100 series) runs from Asakusa in central Tokyo to the World Heritage shrines of Nikko and the hot-spring town of Kinugawa Onsen. Every seat is reserved.

Six cars, six ways to ride: a sofa lounge with a café counter in Car 1, wide reclining premium seats in Car 2, standard seats in Cars 3–5, semi-private box seats in Car 5, and private rooms — including the 7-person Cockpit Suite — in Car 6.

The JR Pass does not cover Tobu trains. You need a base fare ticket plus a limited-express ticket; the seat type you pick adds its own charge.
